State Parks and National Parks
Organize a hiking trip in one of many state parks that allow dogs to enter. You should check restrictions in advance as many national parks only allow pets in developed areas, and then on a leash. Big cities are often the most pet-friendly vacation spots of all, with many luxury hotels catering to the needs of your four-legged travel companion through their special treatments. Standard hotels, too, often allow dogs to stay and may provide special meals or give you with recommendations of nearby restaurants and attractions to access with your pet.
